The SMART Coaching swim analysis program will improve your swim technique through expert advice on your stroke by analysing the way you move in the water.
SMART Coaching is proud to be the region’s chosen coaching program at the Hastings Port Macquarie Town Pool for daily morning and afternoon swim squads.
For almost a decade, SMART Coaching has provided swim squad sessions catering for all abilities. Our swimmers and athletes range from athletes at the Surf Life Savings Club, including many of the nippers around town, to master swimmers, to busy professionals that enjoy the group training environment. They all get what they need out of our swim squads.

Duration: 1 hour coached sessions with qualified instructor.
Ability: Session caters for all abilities and can include all form strokes or variations.
Equipment: Cap, goggles, paddles, fins, kick board and pull buoy are required by swimmers

Our privately coached open water sessions are designed for you to learn more about your stroke and swimming in the open water.
Our sessions take place in either the river or the ocean, providing you with instant feedback on your stroke and sighting.
Whether you are feeling anxious about moving from the pool to open water, or keen to improve your open water skills, our swim technique sessions can help you.

SMART Coaching provides specific technical sessions to assist our athletes’ performance in running.
By analysing the runners whilst in motion we are able to study the athlete’s running technique and apply expert advice to some of these key areas;
The SMART Coaching indoor cycling class is a powered bike session using a Kickr trainer.
The Kickr is a revolutionary trainer that works without your rear wheel so there is no tire wear, less noise and a much smoother ride than you would get on a wind trainer. Simply bring your own bike along to the class and it will be fitted to one of our Kickr machines.
